Expression data from C. elegans
  • organism-icon Caenorhabditis elegans
  • sample-icon 15 Downloadable Samples
  • Technology Badge Icon Affymetrix C. elegans Genome Array (celegans)

Description

We exposed wild-type Vibrio cholerae E7496, multiple Vibrio cholerae virulence factor deleted genes with intact hemolysin A gene [CVD109] and without hemolysin A gene [CVD110] in E7946, and E.coli OP50 to wild-type C.elegans N2 for 18 hours. We used microarrays to detail the global gene expression and identified distinct classes of up-regulated and down-regulated genes during this process.

Expression of mRNA from MCF10A and UFH-001 human cell lines
  • organism-icon Homo sapiens
  • sample-icon 6 Downloadable Samples
  • Technology Badge Icon Affymetrix Human Transcriptome Array 2.0 (hta20)

Description

UFH-001 cells, a newly isolated breast cancer line, have an STR profile that is most similar to that of the control MCF10A cells. Yet, the UFH-001 line is tumor forming with a triple negative phenotype. These cells have a unique transcriptome profile associated numerous breast cancer marker genes.

Expression data from Adult Drosophila with controled microbiota
  • organism-icon Drosophila melanogaster
  • sample-icon 6 Downloadable Samples
  • Technology Badge Icon Affymetrix Drosophila Genome 2.0 Array (drosophila2)

Description

The microbial population that live within the gut of animals influences their physiology. We used axenic and recolonized flies to identify genes whose expression is modulated by the presence of a bacterial flora in the gut.

Publication Title

Drosophila microbiota modulates host metabolic gene expression via IMD/NF-κB signaling.

Identification of transcripts regulated by CEBPA protein and its P30 isoform in K562
  • organism-icon Homo sapiens
  • sample-icon 6 Downloadable Samples
  • Technology Badge IconIlluminaHiSeq2000, IlluminaGenomeAnalyzerIIx

Description

To investigate the effect of CEBPA and its mutant isoform P30 on the expression of mRNAs and long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs), we utilized the K562 AML cell line carrying a stable and Tet-on inducible CEBPA or P30 allele. Overall design: Based on the expression of known CEBPA transcriptional targets, we selected RNA extracted from 48 hours of induction (CEBPA or P30) together with RNA extracted from control-induced cells (CTR). 2 biological replicates for each sample have been utilized.

Gene expression profiling of myxoid liposarcomas (validation set INT-B)
  • organism-icon Homo sapiens
  • sample-icon 12 Downloadable Samples
  • Technology Badge IconIllumina HumanHT-12 V4.0 expression beadchip

Description

FUS-CHOP and EWS-CHOP balanced translocations characterize myxoid liposarcoma which encompasses myxoid (ML) and round cell (RC) variants initially believed to be distinct diseases. Currently, myxoid and RC liposarcoma are regarded to represent the well differentiated and the poorly differentiated ends, respectively, within spectrum of myxoid liposarcoma where the fusion proteins blocking lipogenic differentiation play a role in tumor initiation while molecular determinants associated to progression to RC remain poorly understood. Activation of AKT pathway sustained by PIK3CA and PTEN mutations and growth factor receptor signalling such as RET and IGF1R have been recently correlated with the increasing of aggressiveness and RC. Aim of the present study is to elucidate molecular events involved in driving round cell progression analyzing two small series of MLS selected to be representative of the two end of the gamut: the pure myxoid (0% of RC component) and RC with high cellular component (80%).
