Exon level expression profiling of colorectal cancer tissue samples (77 samples)
  • organism-icon Homo sapiens
  • sample-icon 77 Downloadable Samples
  • Technology Badge Icon Affymetrix Human Exon 1.0 ST Array [probe set (exon) version (huex10st)

Description

These colorectal cancer (CRC) samples have been analyzed by exon expression profiling to identify genes with overexpression of 3 parts. By characterizing underlying transcript structures of such genes with a combination of rapid amplification of cDNA ends and deep-sequencing (RACE-seq), we identify and describe novel RNA-variants in CRC.

Expression Data of Reactive Oxygen Species Signalling in C. elegans
  • organism-icon Caenorhabditis elegans
  • sample-icon 22 Downloadable Samples
  • Technology Badge Icon Affymetrix C. elegans Genome Array (celegans)

Description

We have shown that worms that possess mutations in two electron transport chain subunits live longer due to mtROS signalling. Wild type worms can also live longer by treatment with the pro-oxidant paraquat. Paraquat treatment is not additive to the mutations in the ETC subunits. We aimed to determine the underlying changes in gene expression that were common to both paraquat treatment and the two mutations.

The intrinsic apoptosis pathway mediates the pro-longevity response to mitochondrial ROS in C. elegans.

Single-cell RNA-seq of murine thymic Treg cell progenitors and mature Treg cells
  • organism-icon Mus musculus
  • sample-icon 8 Downloadable Samples
  • Technology Badge IconIllumina HiSeq 2500

Description

We use single-cell RNA-seq to determine distinct selection phenotypes of 2 rare thymic Treg cell progenitors as well as mature thymic Treg cells Overall design: A single cell suspension was generated from murine thymus then magnetically depleted for CD8/Ter119 before sorting CD25+Foxp3-, CD25-Foxp3lo and CD25+Foxp3+ cells from CD4+CD73- thymocytes on a BD Aria II. The 10x Genomic platform…
