Expression data from coronary heart disease in Chinese Han people
  • organism-icon Homo sapiens
  • sample-icon 6 Downloadable Samples
  • Technology Badge Icon Affymetrix Human Genome U133 Plus 2.0 Array (hgu133plus2)

Description

The genetics, social, cultural and environmental factors pose a great challenge for the diagnosis and treatment of coronary heart disease among different racial groups. We aimed to identify the differentially expressed genes involved in coronary heart disease in Chinese Han people as an aid for screening and diagnosing coronary heart disease.

Rattus norvegicus strain:Sprague-Dawley(SD) Raw sequence reads
  • organism-icon Rattus norvegicus
  • sample-icon 6 Downloadable Samples
  • Technology Badge IconIllumina HiSeq 3000

Description

In the present study, we used NGS to characterise lncRNA-seq of acute myocardial infarction (AMI) rats and healthy controls to elucidate the functions and mechanisms of lncRNAs in cardiomyocytes. We want to identified a certain pair of lncRNA and its binding mRNA to elucidate the role in ischemia-hypoxia cardiomyocytes for AMI.

Expression date from db/db mice with or without treatment of traditional Chinese medicine Tang-shen Formula
  • organism-icon Mus musculus
  • sample-icon 9 Downloadable Samples
  • Technology Badge Icon Affymetrix Mouse Gene 2.0 ST Array (mogene20st)

Description

The Chinese herbal granule Tangshen Formula (TSF) has been proven to decrease proteinuria and improve estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) in diabetic kidney disease (DKD) patients with albuminuria. Nevertheless, little was known on the underlying mechanisms of TSF on treating DN.

Gene expression profiling of longissimus dorsi muscle, subcutaneous and abdominal adipose tissues in Yan yellow cattle
  • organism-icon Bos taurus
  • sample-icon 9 Downloadable Samples
  • Technology Badge Icon Affymetrix Bovine Genome Array (bovine)

Description

Microarray technologies, which can measure the expression of thousands of genes simultaneously are useful in understanding global gene networks and identifying novel genes and functional gene classes. The adipose depots may have various adipogenic state-specific genes and regulations of adipose accretion patterns in beef cattle. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to examine the molecular mechanisms of longissimus dorsi muscle, subcutaneous and abdominal adipose tissue depots in a native Chinese yellow breed by identifying differentially expressed genes using Bovine Genome Array. The GO and pathway analysis further validated differentially expressed genes identified in array analysis.

Phenotype and expression profile analysis of Staphylococcus aureus biofilms and planktonic cells in response to Licochalcone A
  • organism-icon Staphylococcus aureus
  • sample-icon 8 Downloadable Samples
  • Technology Badge Icon Affymetrix S. aureus Genome Array (saureus)

Description

Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus) is one of the most important pathogens in humans and animals. The formation of S. aureus biofilm is considered an important mechanism of antimicrobial resistance. Therefore, finding effective drugs against the biofilm produced by S. aureus has been a high priority. Licochalcone A, a natural plant product, was reported to have antibacterial activities and showed good activity against all 21 tested strains of S. aureus biofilm and planktonic cells.

Microarray Analysis of differential gene expression in peripheral blood cells of patients with human essential hypertension
  • organism-icon Homo sapiens
  • sample-icon 6 Downloadable Samples
  • Technology Badge Icon Affymetrix Human Genome U133 Plus 2.0 Array (hgu133plus2)

Description

The polygenic nature of essential hypertension and its dependence on environmental factors pose a challenge for biomedical research. We hypothesized that microarray analysis of differential gene expression in peripheral blood cells would distinguish patients with hypertension from normotensive controls.
